JUNE 2018

Jenny Ho

A demand to bargain meeting was held on proposed parking rate increases over the next several years. The University will hold the current rates until the issue is addressed in bargaining.

The union received a contracting out notice on a paving project. Members agreed that it was not bargaining unit work.

Held a 1-day Final Contract Language Review session with the BT on June 21, 2018

Held our first Bargaining Session with CWU on June 25, 2018

1-    Win, interim contract increase of $500.00 a month applied retroactively through June, 2018. July 2018, interim contract increase of $1000.00 per month through the end of the contract.

2-    Preparing for contract negotiations, comp will be passed on the 15th of July.

MAY 2018

Jenny Ho 

A demand to bargain on the contracting out of bathroom remodeling work was cancelled due to the cancellation of the project. The cost of the contract was over the University’s budget. The University will revisit the project next year.

A demand to bargain has been filed on proposed parking rate increases over the next several years. The demand to bargain is scheduled for June 4.
